The Matthew Hoggard MBE Ashes Charity Golf Day

On Friday the 9th of June 2023, Matthew was the host of The Matthew Hoggard MBE Ashes Charity Golf Day - hosted at the incredible Studley Wood Golf Club. This fantastic event was organised by the talented Champions Events team, and saw guests compete in a shotgun start celeb-am. Following playing golf, guests then enjoyed a champagne reception, a delicious three-course meal, hilarious entertainment with comedian Kev Orkian and an exciting charity auction with Derek Redmond. 

As an avid philanthropist, Matthew was keen to involve his passion for raising money for charity. The Ashes Charity Golf Day raised money for a collection of charities - Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, Variety Golf and UCARE Urology Cancer Research and Education. Matthew also had the pleasure of seeing the Variety Club 17-seater minibus be presented to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, something that will undoubtedly benefit the lives of the children that Rainbows helps on a daily basis!
