Leicestershire captain Matthew Hoggard misses gutsy display against Derbyshire due to surgery on a broken finger.
The pace bowler suffered the injury to the little finger of his left hand when taking a catch in their opening Championship game against Glamorgan.
Leicestershire will take on Derbyshire at The County Ground, Derby, 11:00 am on 19th April.
