Matthew Hoggard walked away victorious from Celebrity Chase with a cheque for £21,000 that will be donated to his chosen charity, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
The popular ITV game show hosted by Bradley Walsh pits the wits of four celebrities against a quiz genius. Hoggy was joined by TV presenter Fern Britton, entrepreneur Michelle Mone, and actor Neil Morissey in their battle against the chaser.
All four contestants were bold and went for the highest amount of money possible but only Hoggy and Fern were left standing for the final chase. With £42,000 to play for, both excelled with their general knowledge to defeat Mark 'The Beast' Labbett and split the prize money for their charities.
The England cricketer said: "I am delighted to have been able to raise £21,000 for Rainbows from my win on Celebrity Chase. I had great fun taking part in the show and to be able to help such a good cause at the same time is a bonus."
Well done Hoggy!
